BaiduAdAway - No Search Ads
A free Edge extension that clears the sponsored results out of Baidu search pages automatically — install it and there is nothing else to configure.
Everything runs inside your browser: no page content, no search terms and no browsing history ever leave your device. The extension has no server of its own.
Baidu mixes sponsored results into the organic list, and picking them out by eye is tedious. The extension finds them by their ad label and hides them, so only the organic results are left.
What it does
- Removes the sponsored results from Baidu search pages automatically.
- Recognises the 广告 / 品牌广告 markers, in simplified and traditional Chinese.
- Shows a short toast with how many ads it has removed so far.
- Clicking the toolbar icon opens the extension home page.
Scope and limits
- Runs only on https://www.baidu.com/s?* search pages.
- It hides the ad entries in the page — it does not block network requests or change ranking.
- Installs from the Edge Add-ons store; works in Edge and other Chromium-based browsers.
